In this PD, I'll be referring to the DSM-5-TR ASD criteria and discussing the non-stereotypical autistic symptoms beyond what is shown in the DSM examples. These symptoms are common in high-masking profiles, but are often unbeknownst to many assessors and clinicians. I will also be showing you the different clinical interview methods I use in my assessments to illuminate any masked autistic behaviours.

This PD is designed for health and allied health clinicians who conduct, or are eligible to conduct autism diagnostic assessments.

This PD is run by an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, and so will be run based on the clinical perspectives and experience of a psychologist (and using the lens of psychological assessments), but it may be of interest to clinicians from other related professions, such as paediatricians, psychiatrists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, etc. 
This online PD with be delivered live via Zoom, and registered clinicians will be able to access the recording of the event for 30 days after the event.
